I was looking for a place to paint amidst the uncertainty following the lifting of lockdowns in Sydney. I found a quiet place in the fields of Jindabyne in the Lake District. As I immersed myself in the tranquil beauty of the landscape and found myself painting pathways of gold emerging from the unknown. The fields of gold symbolise the paths awaiting exploration, leading to new horizons and opportunities.
As I reflect on this painting, I am reminded of the sacredness of creation and the presence of something greater than ourselves. Just as I found solace in the untamed beauty of nature, may viewers of this artwork find comfort and renewal in the knowledge that we are held in the palm of God's hand.
