My Work

Louisa Chan Creative is a trauma-informed community arts initiative that integrates neuroscience and creative arts therapy to support the emotional well-being of children, youth, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. Our programs combine evidence-based psychological approaches with expressive art-making and neuroscience-informed techniques to help participants process trauma, navigate neurodiversity, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience. We specialise in working within inclusive, accessible, and culturally responsive frameworks. A core focus of our work with young people is supporting them to discover their purpose, grow in confidence, and explore meaningful career and life pathways through creativity and self-expression. Our approach is grounded in compassion, insight, and a belief in each individual’s intrinsic worth and potential, drawing on principles of faith, hope, and restoration. Key outcomes include enhanced emotional intelligence and literacy, self-awareness, resilience, social connection, and improved well-being.
